The Afghani mountains, a hero, and excerpts from Persian poetry with the tabla and the Kathakali drum music make up the fabric of a world contemporary music composition for percussion instruments. This time, composer and percussionist Bruno Paquet, known for his works for the percussion instruments of India, is using the imagery of poems and items of news to impart a dramatic colour to his piece of music.
