* P. V. Vijayan is a former artistic director to Kalamandalam, and he was Richard Tremblay's main professeur. With the latter, he participated in the staging and revival of The Iliad (1988-2000) which he rehearsed on many occasions, and which he has supported thorouhly over the years.
